I called the Toys R Us in Franklin, and Babies R Us on Nolensville Road. Neither of these stores are participating in the additional $10 off promotion. However, there were apparently coupons out for this if you have the coupon.
I stand corrected, I just went to Toys R Us, b/c it is too good a deal to pass up. The $10 off DID work. I didn’t ask about it in store, it just came off. On my reciept it said $10 off 2 DVD purchase. Sesame Street movies were also BOGOF, and it appears the $10 will work on those also.
I just purchased the baby einstein dvds at my Toys R Us in Algonquin, Illinois. There is no coupon needed for the $10 off. It rang up that way at the register – buy 1 get 1 and then $10 off. (The cashier did not even know what I was talking about when I asked her about the $10 off prior to purchasing the videos.) I bought 2 more and the 2d cashier said that it is advertised in the catalog.
I asked and they told me it was online only. So, I went ahead and bought 4 in one transaction. When I got home. I realized they did take the $10 off, but it ended up only 10 for my whole order. I think I may go back and return two and repurchase…that’s $10! Thanks for your input ladies.
