So guard yourselves and God’s people. Feed and shepherd God’s flock—his church, purchased with his own blood—over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as elders. (Acts 20:28)
Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! (Psalm 34:8)
You have given me greater joy than those who have abundant harvests of grain and new wine. (Psalm 4:7)
And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!” (Romans 10:15)
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. (Romans 8:28)
Better to be patient than powerful; better to have self-control than to conquer a city. (Proverbs 16:32)
In the same way, the good deeds of some people are obvious. And the good deeds done in secret will someday come to light. (1 Timothy 5:25)
