cellfire

Cellfire is a new service that lets you add coupons for shopping, restaurants, groceries, and entertainment to your cell phone or store-savings card for savings at local retailers and venues. Currently, the only grocery store in our area (Middle TN), that has Cellfire is Kroger, but I have heard that others may follow suit soon.

How It Works

  1. You log on to their website
  2. Enter your id (in this case your cell number) and password
  3. Choose your coupons

TIP: Load as many coupons as you think you will use, but there is a limit of 50.

2 Ways to Use Cellfire Coupons

Using Cellfire with Your Store Savings Card

You can load coupons to your Kroger card. [also works at Ralph’s, Baker’s CityMarket, Dillon’s, Fry’s, Gerbes, Hilander, JayC, King Soopers, Owen’s, Pay Less, QFC, Scott’s, and Smith’s]

  • Input the store’s loyalty card number after you sign up.
  • Register your cell phone number, birth year, zip code, sex, and email address.
  • Small Towns: One thing to be sure of, if you live in a small town without a Kroger [or Kroger-owned store], it would be easier when registering to use the zip code of the town with the Kroger this is the only show you the available coupons.

Using Cellfire on Your Cell Phone

You can also  choose to use Cellfire on your phone.  I wouldn’t recommend this unless you have unlimited text messaging, your standard rates would apply.

  • Load deals to your phone
  • Show your phone to the cashier, and they scan the barcode.
  • It comes off your order as if you were handing them a paper coupon.

Hey Kelly – – can you use a manufacturer’s coupon in addition to cellfire coupons that you’ve loaded onto your Kroger Plus card?

Can you purchase multiples of the same item to “stockpile” or is it just one coupon per purchase regardless of the number of that item you actually checkout with? For example, if I want to get 6 boxes of one cereal and I loaded the cereal cellfire coupon for 50 cents off, will it deduct 50 cents x 6 = $3.00 off? Can I load more than one “copy” of the that coupon? I am new to this but appreciate your help.

Unfortunately you can only load one per card.
