I was made aware this week that many people think that I chase every, or most deas that I post. Well, I don’t. In fact, in the past 7 months, since my second child was born, I am good if I go to one store a week!
The reason I felt the need to post this is to let you know that it is OKAY to only go to one store. You can still stock up and save TONS of money with only one store in your rotation. If you are new and you are in stockpile mode, going to multiple stores is a great way to kick-start your stockpile. But, once you have been shopping this way, you really can pick and choose where and how often you go.
Once my time begins to free up some I will begin to add more stores in my rotation so that I can donate more. But for now…my goal is to provide for my family and if I can donate while sticking close to home, then I am very happy.
I hope this was helpful. I would love to hear your comments on changes in your shopping journey since you have started! Please post below…
I am new to couponing-my husband just helped me put together my binder last week. We have a 10-month-old, and are trying to find ways to save money being that I am a stay at home mom. Times are tough sometimes! I would love to start atleast a small stockpile, just in case we are short on money one week and need items that we can’t afford to buy. I love your page-it is now set to my home page on my computer. ๐ We have discussed lately how we can spend money the way God wants us to, and your page was the icing on the cake.
Last week was my first week with using coupons, so I definitely haven’t gotten the hang of it yet. I did, however, get 5 tubes of Colgate toothpaste free at walgreen’s and Nivea men’s body wash for $1.50 at CVS. ๐ That’s a start!
Yeah Cortney, that is awesome! You will be amazed how easy it will get the longer you do it. Keep at it!
