CVS-Coupon-Policy-Changes

CVS has finally released a corporate coupon policy. It is available to print from their website. If you’re a CVS shopper, you will definitely want to print this out and have it with you when are there, just in case there is ever any confusion when you are checking out. As we all know, sometimes the cashiers are not as aware of the store’s coupon policy as we are!

Here are a few things you’ll want to know:

  • In the event that any item’s price is less than the value of the coupon, CVS/pharmacy will accept the coupon only to the price of the item. CVS/pharmacy does not provide cash back in exchange for any coupons.
  • The coupon amount will be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied. (For example, a $5.00 coupon for a $4.99 item will result in a $4.99 coupon value).
  • CVS/pharmacy reserves the right to process coupons in any order.
  • CVS/pharmacy accepts valid internet/print at home coupons containing a barcode.

HA!! It’s about freaking time! I have been couponing for OVER 25 years and have had NOTHING but sick, disgust over ALL people who THOUGHT there was such a thing as MONEY MAKERS! Kudos CVS for FINALLY getting it right!

I am appalled that one, cashiers were not trained to only take off the iem price
2-the registers, automatic scanning registers, are suppose to be programmed to not exceed the limit of the actual price and three, people in general who took such advantage of this slip up!

I have never in all my years ever thought it was RIGHT, APPROPRIATE or LEGAL to make money this way…

I am doing the happy dance that finally these money making promoters got their due –yes yes YES! come on retailers, get with it and crack down! before automatic registers, cashiers were the ones who hand written each and ever price on the coupon if the price did not match…

ahhhhh, victory is sweet as being the lone ranger out there trying to keep couponing the way it has always been and not a ring of theives…this just made my already perfect day so much better!!!
