One of my husband and mines favorite things to do is a movie date, but it can get quite expensive. Matinees in my area are around $8 and evenings cost right around $12! So, without dinner or the babysitter we are looking at around $25 and that isn’t including popcorn or coke!
4 Movie Tickets for $15.99!
So, when I saw this deal come up, I was pretty excited. This new program called Weekly Cinema lets you purchase 4 movie tickets per month at only $15.99. You will even get one free ticket for signing up for your first month. This ends up being around $4 per ticket! Much better than $12 , huh?
How it Works
Sign up for Weekly Cinema and you will have to give your name, address, email, and credit/debit card info, you will be charged $0.15. Immediately you will receive a code for your FREE ticket in your email inbox. Redeem this code at Fandango for a ticket priced up to $14. Every month (after the free trial) you are billed $15.99 and will receive your ticket codes on the first of the month. There is no contract and you can cancel at any time.
Anyone tried this yet? I am thinking about signing up and would love reader feedback.
Do you have to pay Fandango’s svc fees? We had $12.00 in service fees to use a gift certificate.. just curious..
I love this program!!!! I usually see 3 movies a month, especially during Christmas and summer. The only thing is that the theaters has to be associated with Fandango. Most of the AMC theaters in the area are not associated with Fandango. I still think it is worth the money.
This is very interesting! I would love to see if this works well for some others. Any idea if you can gift the tickets to someone or only you can use them?
When I just checked it was $19.99.
When I go to the website, it shows 4 tickets for $19.99. Is this what everyone else is seeing? How do we get the 4 tickets for $15.99? Thanks!
