Are you looking for an Easter basket coloring page?
My kids love to color, and when I sit down to color with them, I really enjoy it too. It’s therapeutic in some ways, you know? It’s so relaxing. Plus, it’s an easy thing to do–it doesn’t require a lot of equipment or complicated instructions. We can sit down with an Easter basket coloring page and a box of crayons, and have a conversation together while we are enjoying the activity.
I found some great coloring pages that don’t have anything written at the bottom, so I can fill those in with verses for my kids to be learning about Easter.
:: You can choose an Easter basket coloring page that you like from Apples4theTeacher HERE.
We can talk about the verses and even memorize the shorter ones while we color together. These verses focus on new life:
It is through faith that a righteous person has life. (Romans 1:17c)
…[F]or you were dead, but now you have new life. (Romans 6:13b)
…[T]he Spirit gives life. (2 Corinthians 3:6c)
He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them. (2 Corinthians 5:15)
This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Add these coloring pages to this Easter basket craft for another fun project to work on with your kids. Tuck in a box of crayons or colored pencils too. Get more ideas for Easter basket crafts on Faithful Provisions.
