How My Life Changed Using Essential Oils
Two years ago I was in PAIN. Every day I would wake up, and get out of the bed unable to stand up straight and take lots of over the counter medication. I literally couldn’t stand up until the meds kicked in. At the time I had two small children who were very active and I could not keep up with them. It was frustrating, it was painful and I was way too young for this.
I have had back pain my entire life, but after having children, it got worse. I have the kind of pain in my low back that inhibits my range of motion, and keeps my back in an unhealthy inflammatory response. This makes it pretty painful. Over the course of 10 years, I have tried everything. Over the counter and prescription medicines, multiple x-rays, acupuncture, chiropractics (all kinds), massage therapy (best bet for me) and more. You name it, I’ve tried it.
About 2 years ago, I went to a blogging conference with a friend and we roomed together. She is a holistic health coach and uses essential oils. After watching how she incorporated them into her life, I finally decided to give them a try. She suggested I begin taking the Life Long Vitality Pack supplement, along with some oils for daily pain management. In addition, I started using the Deep Blue Rub, layered with Frankincense and Marjoram essential oils. Honestly, I was really skeptical. I had tried it all. You can buy from my online store but you will pay retail prices. The best way to purchase the essential oils from doTERRA is to purchase a wholesale membership so that you can get wholesale prices (step-by-step instructions below). If you start (like me and most people do) with a Starter Kit, then the annual enrollment fee is even waived! You will be able to get wholesale prices (25%) on all your oils!

SIGNING UP for Wholesale Prices: STEP BY STEP
1. Check out the enrollment kits and decide which one you would like and which one is in your budget. The $35 enrollment fee is waived if you purchase a starter enrollment kit.
2. Click over to the sign-up page and enter your country.
3. Select your country, then select “Wholesale Prices”
4. The “Enroller ID” and “Sponsor ID” boxes should already be filled in for you. But if not, enter 475133 in both boxes and the name should come up as “Kelly Hancock.”
5. Fill out your name, billing address, shipping address, and contact info. (Entering in your social security number is for tax purposes and it is optional. If you make over $400/year selling doTERRA products, you will receive a 1099 form in the mail, as is required by law. doTERRA will never share this info with anyone.)
6. Select your time zone and choose a virtual office password.

How do you use essential oils?
- Aromatically – Our sense of smell influences many physiological pathways in our body. Breathing in a pure essential oil by way of diffusing, can purify the air, promote emotional benefits to our body, and eliminate odors and airborne pathogens.
- Topically – doTERRA oils have a immediate, localized benefit by restoring or calming our body. The chemical structure of essential oils allows them to be absorbed into the bloodstream via the skin for internal benefit throughout the body.
- Internally – doTERRA oils can be used as dietary supplements supporting a variety of healthy conditions. Some oils have powerful antioxidant properties. Some help support healthy inflammatory response in cells (Do not use an essential oil internally that does NOT have the appropriate dietary supplement facts on it’s label – doTERRA oils do!).
Why doTERRA oils more expensive than some other brands you can buy at the store?
But when it comes to essential oils, you get what you pay for. Most store-bought essential oils are not put through the testing like doTERRA oils are. Plus, there usually is a warning on the label not to take them internally. No thank you! When I buy essential oils, I want to get the full therapeutic benefit from them. I love them so much that I have become a distributor for them, not to try to SELL and make money from them (however that is a huge benefit), but I wanted the steep discount that comes with being an Independent Product Consultant and I wanted to be able to recommend the best quality oils to all of you.
Is there a monthly order minimum?
Nope. You do not need to have a monthly order to benefit from being a Wholesale Member or a retail customer.
I don’t really want to sell essential oils. Do I have to sell doTERRA products to be a Wholesale Member?
Of course not! Since there is no monthly order requirement you can just order whenever your family needs it. There is no requirement to have a business.
What do I need to get started?
To begin as an Wholesale Member you start by purchasing an enrollment kit. There are several options to choose from depending on your budget. I highly recommend the Home Essentials kit or the Natural Solutions kit…best bang for you buck!
Even if you have no intention of ever selling the oils to others, becoming a Wholesale Member is still a great option. There are no minimums or quotas you must meet– and no one is going to pressure you to sell product or have “parties” if you aren’t interested in that aspect.
