More Food Lion deals over at $30 weekly Grocery Challenge.
Be careful with those Food Lion bagged frozen chicken deals that are BOGOF this week! Those of us that shop Food Lion regularly have bought these in the past for $6.99 to $7.99. It looked like a great deal this week when I found these under the buy one get one free sign. I grabbed two without thinking about the price because I have bought them so many times. Wow, was I surprised when I got to the car thinking that my receipt was a little bit higher than I had planned! It was because these bags are priced at $14.99 EACH this week instead of around $6.99 or $7.99. So, I felt like this was one deal that Food Lion took advantage of us on. There is no way that there are enough pieces of chicken in a bag of tenderloins (about 8) to be worth $14.99!
