End of Year To-Do’s
1. Clean Out Coupons – Many coupons will expire 12/31/09, so be sure to go through and use any you don’t want to lose. But, more importantly, clean them out for all the new ones in 2010! Be sure to checkout the Coupon Insert Schedule from ’09 to see what to keep and the new list for ’10 to see what is coming.
2. Print Month-End Coupons – Couponing sites like Coupons.com, SmartSource and Red Plum release new coupons and pull others at the end of each month. I would imagine there will be a lot of changes in offerings come January 1, 2010. So be sure to print yours now!
3. Wait for the Best After-Christmas Clearance Sales – Right now After-Christmas sales are at 50%, but I would wait until they hit 75% off unless there are things you really need. I imagine that items like lights and wrapping paper will still be available at the deeper discounts, maybe not the selection, but still there! TIP: Use $x off $xx coupons to get even deeper discounts.
4. Start Planning for 2010 – Things to plan for include setting your weekly grocery budget, any diet changes you want to incorporate (whole wheat, no artificial additives, etc) or a family gift guide (your shopping list!).
5. Next Year’s Winter Wardrobe – This is a great time of year to begin pulling together next year’s winter wardrobe. I wait until items get at least 50% off before I start buying. I box up the clearance items, and label them with the size and gender so I know exactly what I have for each child for the next year.

If you love freebies like I do. Go to the POPTARTS website – http://www.poptarts.com – sign up for Sprinklings – I’ve already gotten 2 pieces of mail – one had a coupon for a free box of a new flavor of Poptarts (blueberry muffin, I think) and a $.55 off coupon for a second box. The second mailing I got had a free sample of a new flavor (grape) and more coupons.
I am having some trouble with the downloads not being big enough to read when I print them. Do you have a tip on how I can make them bigger. ie…they show up in thumbnail size.

The downloads are available for purchase in a package here. Those are just previews so you know what you are ordering :)!
Thank you! That explains my problem. 🙂
