Whenever you find eggs on sale, take the opportunity to stock up and prepare several of these freezer-friendly egg recipes, including the Hashbrown Quiche pictured above. While I am in Ecuador next week, I want Bradford to have plenty of meals on hand that he will have no trouble preparing. All he will have to do is heat these up. These recipes will be perfect for breakfasts, dinners, and there is even a Buttermilk Pie for dessert.

Tip for Testing Egg Freshness
Test to see if your eggs are fresh by filling a fairly deep bowl with cold water. Carefully lower the egg into the water. If the egg is fresh, it will sink to the bottom of the bowl and lay on its side. As it loses its freshness, it will begin to rise. Eggs that fully float, not touching the bottom of the bowl at all, should not be consumed.
