If you’re tired of emailing files to yourself or trying to keep up with a flash drive, let me introduce you to Dropbox.
Dropbox is an online storage site that allows you to have access to your files from just about anywhere. All you do is install it, and then it acts just like any other folder on your computer. The difference is that when you drag, drop, and move files into your Dropbox folder, you will have access to those files whenever you go online, from wherever you happen to be.
- If you shuffle work between a desktop and a laptop, you’ll have your files ready no matter which computer you’re using.
- If you work on an office computer and also bring work home to do from your home computer, you’ll have your files ready no matter where you are.
And if your computer crashes and you lose everything? Well, you won’t lose the files you had stored in Dropbox.
PLUS–You can choose to share files with other people, so it works great for team projects, families, and classrooms.
I’m enjoying using my Dropbox, and I think you’ll find all sorts of ways it can help you keep things organized too. Check it out HERE.
