Harvesting and Freezing Fresh Tomatoes

Money Saving Mom has a great post on how to freeze harvested tomatoes.  My tomato supply was gone last week, I have a few stragglers, but it is now too cold in our area.  But, for those of you who still have a few left, be sure to see her tips here.

Harvesting and freezing fresh tomatoes is a fantastic way to preserve their flavor. I always pick them at peak ripeness for the best taste. After adult night care near me Los Angeles washing and chopping, I spread them on a baking sheet to freeze before storing in bags. This method keeps them fresh for soups and sauces year-round.
