Woo Hoo! I am excited to tell you about this deal my reader, Tammi, told me about. This week at Walmart, the Cars 2 5-disc combo pack is on sale for $24.96. After coupons & rebates, you can get it for FREE!  You’ll need to hurry to do this deal, because the Cars 2 coupon expires on 11/6/11!

Here’s how it works:

Buy Cars 2 5-disc combo pack @ $24.96
Use $5 Cars 2 printable coupon
Pay $19.96 out-of-pocket
Submit for [2] $10 Cars 2 rebates (find and print both rebates HERE)
Final Price: FREE after coupons & both MIR!!

A few things to mention:

  • The $5 coupon is good for the 5-disc combo pack ONLY
  • The coupon expires on 11/6/2011
  • The sale price at Walmart for $24.96 should be good through Tuesday
Note:  You can price match with the ad at Target if your Walmart is out of the Cars 2 5-disccombo pack.
  • There are 2 proofs of purchase on the movie, so you can submit for both rebates

  • Both rebates allow a copy of your receipt (not the original), so you should be able to submit both receipts

Thanks, Tammi!

I have a Cars 2 MONEY MAKER! Best Buy matches the price + 10% of the difference AND accepts the $5 coupon! You just need to have a copy of the WM flyer OR you can print the flyer price off the Walmart.com site and take it in.

Don’t you need to buy Johnson and Johnson bandaids and other things?

If you want to submit for the $10 rebate, yes you will need to buy those items. I’ll be working up some great deal scenarios to use with those rebates to make your out-of-pocket cost as low as possible!

I’ll be looking for the rebate deals because it won’t allow us to print the $5 off coupon today. 🙁 Bummed! It says it won’t allow any more or it was at the maximum number?

I was just able to print off the $5 coupon, so it must’ve been a glitch when you tried.

The coupon is for the 5 disc which is $29.96 at my Walmart. The 2-pk is $24.96. I bought it, hoping that I can find it cheaper and return or exchange it. Did anyone else find it for $24.96? When I looked up the ad to try and price match elsewhere it also said $29.96. So I guess I’m a bit confused.

It was 29.96 at my WalMart also. I did the same thing and checked the ad and there was no ad for it to be 24.96, online it is priced at 29.96 as well. However that still makes it only $5 after all the rebates, so still a great deal. I checked Target as well and it was 39.99 there I believe. Not sure that you will find the 5 disc set cheaper anywhere else.

Question about the 2 UPC’s on the movie…There is a sticker with 2 barcodes as shown in your picture, but there are 2 different #’s on that sticker….one is the standard 10 digit UPC and the other is a 7 digit #. Would they both be accepted as proofs of purchase or is there another one inside? It’s a Christmas gift, so I don’t want to open it if I don’t have to.

You would need to confirm with the company, but they are both a proof of purchase and should work!

I went to Walmart in Cool Springs/Franklin today and they said they’ve never carried the 5 disk set…only 2 disk and 11 disk. I almost didn’t try it with the coupon, but decided to try the 2 disk with the printable coupon and it worked fine. It was normal price $24.95.
