Kroger Triples this week!!

on August 12, 2009 · 0 Comments

krogerBe sure to call your local Kroger that is near a Harris Teeter, Alysia reported to me that the Brentwood/Edmondson Pike Kroger is tripling this week!

Here are the stores that participated last time in the Middle TN area:

  • Brentwood
  • Belle Meade
  • Green Hills
  • Melrose
  • Nippers Corners
  • 2- Bellevue stores

Here are some rules to know:

  • All manufacturer coupons tripled $.99 and under
  • Limit of 20 coupons
  • Internet Coupons are accepted, no limit. (I confirmed this at the Brentwood store)

::  Go here to see my links  for Harris Teeter triples, most of these will be a better deal at Krogers!

Thanks Alysia!!

Hi I am a daily reader and was stoked when I saw the kroger tripple post. However I live in GA and our stores are not doing it. I called the Kroger contact number and they said they don’t do that anymore. So I am confused and wondering if you could feel me in to as which stores are doing it? Thanks a bunch and love your blog.

Just wanted to let everyone know-

A friend of mine just left the Green Hills location, and they are only tripling up to .50

I called the Kroger closest to me, the Bellevue Kroger on Hwy 100, and was told they are not tripling at all.

Then I called the West End Kroger (would that be the Belle Meade location, by White Bridge Rd?) and they said they ARE tripling, up to .99

    Strange!

Thanks, Ambra! Yes, I just called the Belle Meade store (the one on Harding road near White Bridge), and they ARE tripling up to 99 cents at least through Saturday. They may go longer, but for sure through Saturday. They are in direct competition with Publix and HTeeter. I am pretty sure that they are ALL taking each other’s coupons, since they are all within walking distance of each other.

So, YAY! And I just got a $20 off $50 coupon in the mail from HT….though it must be used after all coupons, discounts, etc. 🙁 I’ll have to shop strategically!

I called the hwy. 70 store and they are participating though the person who answered didn’t know any details. I also called the Columbia Ave. store in Franklin (the store nearest the new HT that is opening on hwy. 96 W.) and they were not participating.

Update… when I drove past the Hwy 100 Bellevue store, there was a big sign up that said they are tripling this week! So obviously whoever I talked to earlier was misinformed. Not sure up to how much though.

    Yes, Yes, Yes!!!!

    Thank you Ambra H.!

    Let’s Go Krogering!

I am so happy to hear about Hwy !00. It is the closest store (to my location – Hickman Co.) and I MUCH prefer it over the hwy. 70 Bellevue store. I was pretty much decided on passing the triples this time..

Hope you all have a great shopping trip.

Can you clear something up for me? For kroger it said limit 20 coupons then internet coupons no limit. Does that mean I can use 20 manufacturer coupons and as many interenet coupons as I want or is it 20 coupons altogether?

Brecca, it is a limit of 20 coupons total, but HT says you can only use a certain number of internet coupons per transaction. Kroger does not have a limit, ie) all 20 could be internet coupons at Kroger. I hope this helps!

No tripling at the Kroger on Nolensville/Concord Road 🙁 but – the good news is the Nippers Corner Kroger isn’t too far away! 🙂

Kroger on Hwy 100 is tripling …20 per transaction……99 and under triple….they DO give overage. I spent $44.00 and saved $230.00 in five transactions. Love TRIPLES!!

Apparently if you have e coupons on your card they don’t triple your coupon. I think mine was doubled to make it a triple. Was a little disappointed, but glad to have Kroger tripling at all! So, you may want to think about this if you are trying to make the most of your 20 coupons. Maybe try one that has an e coupon match and let me know if the same happens to you. Happy shopping!

It’s funny how excited I am about triple coupons. I’m going shopping in the morning and I feel like I’m going on vacation:)

Edmonson Pike Kroger is tripling until Tuesday at midnight…some deals I found were:
Country Crock Butter with Vitamin D (lg tub) on sale $3.14 with $.75 coupon from Publix Advantage Flyer= $.89. The coupon is a manufactuar coupon and not a Publix Store coupon.

Loreal Kids Shampoo $1.99 with $.75 coupon from paper= FREE

Ragu Pasta Suace on sale $1.66 and with the $.55 coupon from Unilever Book (kelly, was that a Unilever coupon book?) that I picked up at Publix and the $.50 ecoupon it was free.

This is the first I have heard of triple coupons at Kroger. I live in Old Hickory and shop at the Kroger on Lebanon Road. I have never seen a HT store. Is this only in the Nashville area?

Deborah, it is only being done at stores that have a Harris Teeter nearby.

I have found out this time that there is actually MORE Krogers tripling in the TN area than ever before and some of them are not close to any Harris Teeter. E.G The Kroger on Mallory Lane where the Dicks, Marshalls, etc is tripling they have never done before. SO, it is better to go and check.
