Top prize is $999.99 and there are 50 winners who get to come to a great luncheon at Maggianno’s with door prizes and great goody bags.. so it might be worth your while to send me your penny pinching ideas… I just know that you clever cheapsters have some great suggestions that just might wind up in the winning pile. The Details:
- Mary Hance, a.k.a. Ms. Cheap, reads every single tip, then selects 50 winners with the help of a Tennessean judging panel.
- Contest criteria includes creativity, originality, usefulness and, of course, whether the tip actually saves much money. Cleverness definitely counts, as does a sense of humor in some cases.
- The first-place Cheapest of the Cheap winner gets $999.99, second place gets $499.99 and third place gets $249.99. 10 runners-up get a special prize.
- All 50 winners are invited to bring themselves and a guest to an awards luncheon on April 10, 2010 at Maggiano’s Little Italy restaurant. All 50 will get goodie bags and door prizes such as gift certificates and tickets during the four-course, not-a-bit-cheap meal.
