Today was another amazing day. We got to visit two schools in Pigel, about 2 hours outside of Ecuador. At the first drop, it was a much smaller group than yesterday so I really got a chance to connect with the children, the mothers, and the pastor. The video above is a little hard to hear, but the pastor’s heart is so pure, and that is so easy to see. On this trip, I have been continually reminded of how important the boxes are for the local pastors and the support it brings them to reach out to their communities.
As you can see there were lots of great pictures, we really got a chance to talk to the children and help them with their boxes again.
The last distirbution box drop for us was at a preschool. I held precious Melena the entire 2 hours we were there. So sweet! What I loved was that no gift was unwelcome. Once there, I saw that each gift reached the right recipient, and it instantly calmed any worry I had about making sure the right child gets the right box. God takes care of that!
Be sure to check my Facebook page and my Twitter page for lots more pictures too.
My brother, Mike Durrill and my nephew are there with OCC as well! Not sure if you have run accross them =)
How did you get involved with this ministry. I would love to go and be a part of this ministry, but i can’t find any information on missions trips dealing with OCC.
