These are my personal Operation Christmas Child pictures from Ecuador, taken when I traveled with Samaritan’s Purse to distribute the Christmas shoeboxes there last February. From my pictures, it will be easy for you to see why filling the shoeboxes is going to be completely different for me this year.
I wrote several posts and devotionals during my journey of taking the mission trip and then sorting through my experiences once I got home. Several titles are listed below. You can find them all HERE.

Thank you so much for sharing your trip with US! It is such a blessing!
It makes me miss Ecuador so much! I’m so glad you had a good trip. I’m sure the children were blessed by your being there.
Thank you so much for allowing us to follow your trip to Ecuador! I enjoyed the updates and videos, and looked forward to reading them each day. One of the greatest blessings in my life was the two months I spent in Costa Rica on a summer mission trip after college. 25 years later, I still have vivid memories of my time there, and I still sponsor children at an orphanage there.
An even GREATER blessing was the adoption of our two children from Guatemala 6 years ago. Our lives are abundant and full! Seeing your pictures and videos gives me a glimpse into how different their lives would have been, and it also shows me where their innate loving, affectionate hearts come from!
I’m sure you were blessed as much as the Ecuadoran families were!
