Excellent book choice! Love it. We have discovered a great historical fiction series we, also, love. It is called “The American Adventure Series.” They are no longer in publication, but still available for purchase through different vendors.

We started with one book and eventually purchased the rest of the set used off of Ebay. My daughter and I love them. I m one of those kind of women who cry at movies – well, I laugh and cry as we read, too. Ha ha. I think she will be like her mom in this way. If she is reading, no tears. If I am reading…teary-eyed.
