As a NCP panel member, you will be provided with a FREE hand-held scanner. Every time you or members of your household shop, you’ll use the scanner to scan the barcodes on all of your purchases. Then, once a week, you’ll send them your purchase information.

Do I have any readers currently in the program that would like to share their perspectives?
I am not on it but signed up, I figured why not give it a shot. Once I completed the questionnaire I was told I was placed on a waiting list and would be sent the scanner when an opening occurs for a family like mine.
I was in this program and enjoyed the prizes I earned from it. However, it became very tedious to scan every single thing I bought and then enter in the price. After grocery shopping, I just wanted to get the stuff away. It became too much for me so I dropped out.

I’ve been a member about 3 weeks now – still getting used to the process – agree with Maggie – I want to get home and put all my grocery up quickly (especially the frozen stuff) so it’s taking some discipline to remember to grab the scanner right when I get home. Took a little bit of getting used to using the scanner.
