My Publix at the corner of Concord and Nolensville Rd told me Saturday that corporate does not allow them to take some competitors coupons anymore like Target and Kmart. Only Kroger and Walgreens food coupons will be allowed.
If there is a Publix that still does, please let us know!!!
The Moore’s Lane store is the same. I called and they only take Kroger, Whole Foods, Harris Teeter, HG Hills, and the Grassland Market FoodLion. These are the only stores that they consider their true competitors.
The Publix at Memorial Blvd in Murfreesboro takes Target food coupons.
Spring Hill/Thompson Station Publix takes Target but not any drug store coupons.
FYI – My cashier this morning told me that their policy is to not take more than $5 worth of printable coupons. Fortunately, I didn't have more than $5. This was at the Spring Hill store. If you are planning a major shopping trip it may be worth your time to call ahead and ask customer service what their policy is, rather than standing in a checkout trying to figure out what to do. This was new to me. Has anyone heard this before?
When I asked about a month ago, the Publix on Harding accepts Target due to Target being around the corner on white Bridge Rd. I usually visit the Long Hollow Pk store which doesn't even take Walgreens and there is one right across the street! I have learned to ask at the desk before I even try!
