So, I bought 20 items (after a lot of working on my coupons), but I only got 14 of the items for the Pillsbury bake-off, ugh!!! I had to go back to Publix and purchase one more thing, but the kicker was that it had to all be on one receipt! So, I had to return everything and rebuy it! I don’t think they were very happy with me. Then to boot, when they rerang my receipt, it only says “Grocery Food”, and not the items name. When I go to circle participating items there is no name for them. I might just give up on this one. I have 3 more weeks before I have to mail it in, maybe I’ll figure something out!
I bought:
11 – Green Giant Frozen Veggies (11 $.50 coupons – so all FREE)
2 – Progresso Tomatoes (no Q’s)
4 – Pillsbury Crescent Rolls ($.35 & $.25 Q’s, so about $.1/ea)
1 – Progresso Soup ($.25Q, $.75)
I spent about $7.25 + tax, plus I will get a $10 Gift Card in the mail in 6-8 weeks!!
I tell you this to let you know sometimes things are more trouble than their worth, this might be in that category for me!
I agree! I did this too and I was thinking my time was worth WAY more than the $10 bucks 🙂
It’s hard to believe they’ll just give you food. I made $8.05 on this deal after the gift card.
I had problems at Publix yesterday too with the cashier not knowing how competitor coupons worked, so my total was way more than it should have been. I ended up having to do the same thing you did– return it all, then get re-rung up, then get a store gift card for the difference. I didn’t know that if you use a debit card (rather than credit) and then return stuff, they can’t put it back on your card. Just thought others might want to know that for future shopping!
Hi Kelly! thanks so much for all the information on your blog – since taking your class last year, I’ve started saving so much money on our grocery bill! I have a favor to ask – can you tell me if there’s a website listed on the pillsbury bake off form for the publix gift card? I bought enough qualifying items yesterday at Publix, but I don’t have the form because I was out of town on the 8th and didn’t get a paper. I zoomed in on the picture of it that you posted, but it gets too blurry and I can’t read it….just trying to see if I can access the form online somewhere or if I will need to hunt a hard copy down…thanks so much!!
I did the Publix deal this morning but couldn’t find the 5 dollar coupn at the display. Don’t know if anyone else had the same problem. Thanks for all your help!
I had a lot of questions on where to get the General Mills & Publix $10 Rebate form. I got mine out of the 2/8 SS, I looked online for it and couldn’t find it. There was this customer service number on the form 1-800-627-6059. I have had no luck getting anyone on that line!
But, you might be able to just include your info and mail it to the address:
$10 Publix Gift Card Offer
PO Box 2347
Norcross, GA 30091-2347
Here is what the form says though:
Send: 1. This original official main-in request form complete in full.
2. The original publix store and product identified cash register receipt(s) dated 2/8-3/14w/ 15 purchases.
Would the above picture work accompanied by the receipt?
Few comments/questions:
I did the whole Italian/Pilsbury deal tonight at the Nippers Corner Publix. First of all, NO ONE in the whole store knew anything about the Italian deal and they had no list. But the manager just told the cashier to take off the $5 – without even checking my order. He was really nice.
Also for people needing the Pilsbury form…there were a TON of the forms stuck on the various frozen Green Giant veggies. They said, “See inside for Publix $10 gift card”.
Now for my question: On the Pilsbury form, it said Green Giant veggies, boil in a bag. But on your list Kelly, it states any green giant frozen veggies or even canned. Can those can be counted in the Pilsbury rebate?
The Green Giant frozen and canned was for the $5, but for the $10 rebate it is only frozen.
