My Publix penny item today was Pasta Roni. Also, my publix checker told me they no longer accept Target coupons! I was so bummed- I had that Quaker bar coupon and planned to use it. Have you heard anything about that or is the Nipper’s Corner Publix just being wierd?
I go to the Publix on Concord/Nolensville Rd and they took my Target coupons. They said they will accept them as a competitor coupon, but would not double it. Also, they were out of the $1/2 blinkies, but Kroger across the street had them. I was able to get 12 boxes of granola bars for $.50 each. Yea!!
Strange! I think the Nipper’s Corner Publix must be giving away old stock or something! We had a choice between fruit cocktail or Dinty Moore beef stew.
Publix in McKays Mill questioned my target coupons too. I said that I ALWAYS have been able to use them and they accepted them….they may be switching their policy, BUT there the super Target would classify as a competitor — they are a grocery store!
I go to the Publix in Fieldstone Farms in Franklin and tried to use my Target coupons as well. I have always used them with no problem. Not this time! The cashier told her the manager recently told all cashiers there that they could NOT accept Target coupons. No exceptions. I was bummed. They will still take Food Lion and other grocery stores though. I still may tried again next time. You never know!
The Bellevue Publix won’t accept Target coupons either. They said only stores that sell mainly grocery items. On the baby food deal, there was a blinkie coupon by the baby food for $1 off 10 Earth’s best baby food. Thanks for the food Lion coupon, too, what a great deal! I’m making baby food for home, but it will be great to have organic jarred for when we go out.
