This was not a big shopping week for me, we had plenty of produce on hand, with lots of organic apples from last weeks big Kroger and Publix trips.
Our Costco Trip
After I injured my back ( a bulging disc and scoliosis), coupled with my husband out of town most of the week, the only store we made it out to was Costco. That was more for a field trip to get out of the house and to grab their pizza for dinner! While at Costco I picked up some goat cheese, organic tortilla chips and campari tomatoes (my favorite). These are a few of my splurges when we have a little room in the budget, so in total I spent around $15.
:: If you have a Costco or Sam’s Club near, be sure to check out my free Provisions App for the best prices at these stores, or the Free Printable Price List (same thing in digital format). This list also shows best prices for items you find at any store. A great resource for your shopping.
Since my Rite Aid UP Rewards expire this week, my goal is head out for a trip there this week. I don’t know if you have seen it yet, but the new Kroger ad is loaded with digital coupons that they pair with sale items. But, none of these were anything I would jump to the store for.
New Kroger Policies
I am interested to see how things change at Kroger with the new enforcement of the eCoupons and paper coupons, along with the nixing of the doubling coupon policy at the Houston area Kroger’s. If you are wondering how to make the most of the new Kroger eCoupon policy enforcement, read my Tips to Using eCoupons at Kroger post.
