This year instead of planning an Easter celebration, we are going to probably head out to eat tonight after our Good Friday service, then on Sunday, my mother in law is preparing the meal. So, it is quite nice that I can relax and enjoy this beautiful holiday. But, for those of you who are in the throws of planning, I pulled together what I hope is a helpful post to get you organized.
:: Checkout my Easy Tips for Planning Your Easter Menu post. I hope it helps. Any tips you’d like to share?
This afternoon we are going to make our traditional Empty Tomb Cookies, which the children LOVE! But, if that is too much, be sure to try the Resurrection Rolls for a quicker and easier project. Both are wonderful, just depends on how much time you have. Also, if you have nut allergies, you can substitute pretzels for the nuts in the Empty Tomb Cookies.
I did make a trip to Aldi this week and grabbed some amazing produce deals and even found an outdoor aluminum umbrella for our outside picnic table for only $29.99. At Lowes and Home Depot these were running at least $100, so that was a great find. You can seem my full Aldi trip here.
