With everything going on in our economy and thousands of layoffs announced over the last few days, I felt the need to send out a word of encouragement.
So many of you reading right now are either looking for a job, afraid you will lose your job, or struggling to pay the bills due to cut-backs. I want to remind you something God tells us about his care for us and how important we are to him. I love this verse, in fact, it was an inspiration for this blog.
“Do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! ” – Luke 12:22-24
