Thanks Common Sense With Money & Life As Mom!
I did the math, and it’s a better deal to use the coupon (even the .75 one) than to get the cash back. You would only get back .39 with the 3% back.
Sherry – I went to our local store and they didn’t have the bonus packs, just the regular packs, so I ordered online to get 4 extra batteries per pack, so a total of 8 extra!
Yep, 8 free batteries are definitely a better deal! I went to the store in Smyrna last night and was able to snag the bonus packs!
I am just starting to do couponing and just purchased the Sunday paper this last week. I don’t have the coupons you are referring to for the Duracell batteries. Is there another way to get the coupon since I missed them? Is it worth purchasing the batteries at Staples or on line without the coupon? Thanks for clarifying for me.
Jennifer, there are lots of places to purchase coupons, most of the purchase prices being far less than the amount saved by using them on the purchase. I’ve never used this site but have heard about it, http://www.thecouponclippers.com/ . When I purchase coupons I usually do it on eBay. Nowadays, I just buy the paper, sometimes a couple of them, and also have my family send me their coupon inserts which they do not even have time to look through. Many times I easily have 5 or more of the same coupon in case great deals come up. Hope that helps and good luck!
