I dropped in Kroger today because I forgot to pick up the Sunday paper yesterday and they are $1 after Sunday. So, while I was there I walked around to see if there were any good manager’s specials. Well….there were! I might need to quit doing that, because I was not really in need, but the deals were so good I snagged a few things anyways.
While I was there I found $1/2 Cascadian Farms Organic Cereal or Bars peelies on some of the cereal boxes. I paired that with the sale to get them for around $2 each, which is an okay deal for Cascadian Farms. The $.75/1 printables were out of print, so this was the next best thing.
Here are the other manager specials items I snagged at Kroger before I headed home with a very cranky almost 3 year old little boy.
- Organic Romain Lettuce, 3 pk — $1.99 (on manager’s special)
- 4 pkgs 1.5 lbs organic chicken breast tenders and thighs – $2-3/ea (on manager’s special)
- 3 packages sliced bakery bread (rye and pumpernickel) — $.99/ea (on manager’s special)
*perfect for our grilled sandwiches! - Cascadian Farms Organic Cereal and Granola bars — $2/ea after peelies

My Aldi trip gave me a few good surprises on specialty items we like. But I was sad to see that my Rolled Oats went up from $1.79 to $1.99….
- Roasted Peppers, jarred — $1.69 (great price!)
- Spanish Olives — $.99 (to make Skillet Sicilian Steak next week)
- Porchini Mushroom Stuffed Tortelloni — $2.19 (for an italian style soup I hope to post soon)
Did you find any good deals this week? Be sure to take a picture and post your deals. I will be putting up a Show Your Savings Link Up on Friday morning for you to share.
