So, I don’t get to go to Trader Joe’s much, but I have an activity that now takes me near one each week. I haven’t been in so long, so I forgot the great deals they have. I would love to know your favorite deals there.
Here are some of the deals I picked up on a quick trip:
Raw Sunflower Seeds, 16 oz — $1.49 (for Trail Mix and Granola)
Organic Whole Carrots, 1 lb — $.89 (for juice machine and snacks)
Grapefruits — $.69/ea (great price, b/c at Publix they were $1.19/ea) (juicing)
Orange Juice, half gallon — $1.99
*Organic Bananas — $.29/ea — No, that is not a good price, but I thought the sign said $.29/lb and organic bananas are usually around $.59/lb on sale. So, I was really excited, until I got to the register with over 10 bananas, and realized I was paying much more than I was anticipating!
What are your favorite Trader Joe’s deals? I need a good list for the next time I go.
My price favorites are natural peanut butter (not organic) for $1.69 a jar and frozen edamame for $1.69 a bag. Their frozen chicken potstickers are amazing, easy dinner for around $4.50 a bag. With some dipping sauce, edamame, and brown rice, it’s a cheap meal for the whole family!
Their TJ brand of broth (veggie, chicken, beef) is only $1.99 for a 32oz carton. And it is really good.
