This post hits a nerve for me, because I have had quite a few questions lately on ethical coupon practices and to me this says it all!

Being a child of God, I am constantly aware that I have an example to set. I feel this pressure even more having so many of you looking to my site for help. My witness at times can seem so fragile. What if I mess up, and everyone sees it? What if I mistakenly use a coupon on something that I wasn’t supposed to?
I know this is straying a little from my normal testimony posts, but I felt the need to express some thoughts I have been pondering. I hope all of you have a blessed evening, and thanks so much for all of your support in reading my blog!
What if I say or do something, and it causes mistrust?
These are thoughts that have lately plagued my mind. I strive to always have the deepest of integrity, but I still make mistakes. Sometimes I feel like people don’t realize that Christians make mistakes just like everyone else. We do have a higher standard to adhere to, and that can make life difficult. It seems like there are times that people look at my life with a fine tooth comb, because of my spirituality.
Tonight, I am taking peace in the fact that God loves me no matter what mistakes I make, and no matter what people think of me. Nothing can change that!
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” – Romans 8:38-39 (NIV)
To all of my readers: I do not fill my blog with a bunch of religious things, because that is not what this blog is about. However, I do believe that everything I do should glorify the Lord. That is why I continue to do Tuesday Testimony posts. And that is why I do not post what I believe to be unethical coupon practices. My professed spirituality may cause you to look deeper into some things and find mistakes. But I hope that you won’t think I will always be perfect. However, I want you to know that the things I post will be what I believe to be ethical and honest. And I have confidence that when I do make a mistake, you all will help me to realize it without attack and judgment.
There are some very fine lines regarding ethical couponing, and many people differ in opinions. When all is said and done, you need to personally decide what you feel is right. I will continue to do what I feel to be right, and glorify the Lord in all my ventures.
