Beware the Walgreen’s $5/25 ! Usually all coupons have to be deducted first, and you are still left with $25 oop before the coupon. I have never used one for that reason. I’m sure our fearless leader can shed more light on this subject !

The $2 coupon that is printed off and given to you with your change at Walgreens is not usable on any Proctor & Gamble products either. I bought 2 Old Spice body washes last week. The ad showed that if you bought two you would get a $2 Walgreen coupon and it would be like getting the two bottles for $6 (not figuring in any mfg coupon). So, I thought I would go back and use another mfg coupon and my $2 Walgreens coupon to get two more bottles. No way. There was no problem using the mfg coupon with the Walgreen’s coupon, it was just that the Walgreen’s coupon was not good on P&G even though the ad made you think it would be!

Amy – You can’t use a Register Reward for a Proctor & Gamble product to purchase another P&G product. But you can use it on anything else in the store. That is called “rolling” the Register Rewards and Walgreens doesn’t allow it. You can “roll” at CVS though.

I live in TX and had no problem with the $5/$25 coupon. I gave it to him first before all my other coupons and it worked perfectly. 🙂

Here is a deal for the cold meds (Sudafed PE or OM and Tylenol Cold/Allergy/Liquid) that you buy $20 worth and get $10 in RR.

Buy (2) Sudafed PE @ $5.99 each, use (2) $2/1 Sudafed PE Triple Action RP 10/4 or printable $2/1 http://www.sudafed.com/#offer. Other scenarios can exist should you be interested in the Sudafed OM product that will give you a better deal. A Sudafed OM coupon was in RP 10/4 $4/1.

Buy (2) Tylenol Cold meds @ $4.99 each, use (2) printable coupons $2/1 https://www.tylenol.com/vcrc/manage/nmtycampaign.jhtml;jsessionid=P5Z12P0SCOXVKCQPCAOSUYYKB2IIWNSC?oid=5559&_requestid=364047 I was able to get 2 by using my husband’s and my e-mail address.

Total OOP: 13.96 and you Meds total will be 21.96 qualifying you for the $10 RR so, $3.96 after RR. Not bad considering it is slim pickins for RRs the past couple of weeks.

Oh forgot to mention Ocean Spray Juice on sale for $1.99, there is a coupon in the Wags Nov Coupon booklet for $1/1. It is specific to certain varieties though so watch.

    OOP: $.99

First time posting but I am a loyal daily reader and had an experience at Walgreens this weekend that I wanted to share – apparantly the rules of Walgreens couponing have changed and now if you use one of the “$5 off of $25”, etc Walgreens coupons you will NOT be able to receive register rewards on any of the items you purchase in that transaction. For example, I used one of those $5 off of $25 coupons yesterday and then I should have received register rewards off of the Bic Soleil razors that I purchased but they didn’t print out. When I pointed this out to the store manager who checked me out she said it was a new Walgreens coupon policy that if you use the $5 off of $25, etc coupons you are NOT eligible to receive register rewards off of anything purchased in that same transaction. This was the Walgreens on Gallatin Rd, the store manager was Brenda – I lost out on some savings last night because of this so wanted to see if anyone else had the same experience?
