Purex Laundry Detergent is on sale BOGOF this week at Walgreens and there is a BOGOF coupon in the 2/21 Red Plum insert. Which makes them both FREE! (They are both free b/c Walgreens doesn’t discount them 50% off each, you must buy both to get the deal!)

Thanks so much Charissa!
Be sure to check out all of this weeks Walgreens Deals.
So confused!! My Walgreens (Murfreesboro, Northfield Blvd location) didn't allow me to do this when I tried to buy something they had on sale BOGO and when I had a BOGO coupon a couple of weeks ago. In this instance, it was Glad baggies that were BOGO and I had a BOGO coupon…so I brought up 2 boxes to the register and the cashier told me I had to have 4 boxes in order to redeem the coupon, otherwise it was like me getting two for free. She wouldn't budge on the issue and I didn't argue…just put my coupon up.
This deal worked for me! I am in Hendersonville, Tn. I got 6 bottles for $1.61! (the tax) I did this deal 2 days ago and I still feel giddy when I think about it! Amazing!
Walgreens manager in Goodletsville TN told me on Tuesday that they will not do this deal or any deals like this anymore! They recieved emails saying not to take B1G1 coupons when something is already B1G1 b/c Coupon people are going over board buying or getting them for free and it doesn't leave any for people to come in and buy when they see the ad in the paper for the sale. Seems like everywhere we went that day complained and said tey were cracking down on all these coupons!???
It worked in Hermitage, TN Walgreens. I bought 2 bottles at one store and 2 at another. I also had other items, not just the Purex.
This deal worked in Inglewood but in Donelson the Assistant Manager would not let me use the 4 coupons I had. I emailed customer service and the Store Manager said he would inform his staff that if the register accepts it, they need to side with the customer. So I guess it depends on your cashier and the manager of the store.
I tried this in Antioch and they wouldn't let me. Glad some of you are having better luck! 🙂
This worked for me at the Haywood Lane WAG. First time, not a problem. Second time, cashier was confused but had not scanned the Q. After he scanned he said “Okay, I didn't know it would do that.” Seems to work in their system if you can get the human to work it.
I just tried it at the Walgreens in Thompsons Station and they would not honor it. The manager said that they have received an email from corporate saying that their coupon policy does not honor bogos on items that are already bogo in the store. The cashier said that stuff like this has happened before where they honor the coupons for some people and when corporate realizes that there is a valuable coupon out there, they will change their minds. I tried to explain that they would get their money back if they mailed the coupon into the manufacterer, but they would not budge. Unfortunate.
I lucked out in Smyrna (Sam Ridley) Walgreens – great cashier lady who was friendly and said she loved coupons to save money. 🙂
There were quite a few Purex on the shelf – so head on over to Smyrna!
Oops – after cleaning out my coupon bag, I found another Purex B1G1 coupon, and today went back to Smyrna store and they said the district manager / corporate had told them they couldn't do the deal anymore. The store manager was “upset” herself that they weren't able to cater to their couponers…oh well. I plan on contacting that district manager just to let him know I didn't think it was a smart move on his part…(Lord give me nice words to say!)
