Weekly Wrap-Up: April 25th

on April 25, 2009 · 0 Comments

Not a bad trip this week.  Praying specifically for things, really helped!  I felt prepared and confident in my trips.  I got ALOT for my money this time and really felt good about the work I had done.

Since this month kind of straddled I am showing a surplus in my budget!  But, to be fair, I did change it mid-month to add a little for needs.  We are going on vacation next week, so I have a separate budget.  We will have family with us at the beach, so I am giving us a nice cushion in case of impulse buys.  I like to approach vacations more laxed, and let go of strict budgeting when we go on vacation.  We will be meal planning and using coupons, but I know we will have extra trips with 10 people in one house!

What about you?  How did you this week?  Any tips for me on saving money while on vacation? Take a moment to us about your shopping trips in the comments section below.

Wow! You do really good with sales and coupons. My Momma, Money Saving Mom, and Hot Coupon World have taught me ALOT about being frugal with grocery shopping and it’s been soooooooooo helpful to me as a newly wed. 🙂
My shopping trip at Publix this week would have been $98.32 before sales and coupons, but I only had to pay $15.27!! 🙂
One more thing…………you’re not the only one that has prayed for certain sales or coupons to arrive in time. 🙂
