This week was okay, but I am making a commitment to do better at getting more for my dollar! I have been staying within budget, but not optimizing our dollars, I will have higher savings next week — that is my goal!!
I have actually been under budget the last few weeks by a few bucks, but that is about to change. I am going to maximize this week, I have a big shopping trip planned later today for Kroger’s Mix ‘n Match Mega Event. In case you haven’t checked it out, it is a really great stockup opportunity.
See if you can find my little stinker reaching for the food!
What is Weekly Wrap-Up?
Weekly Wrap-Up is a post I do every Saturday to show you what I got this week for $40 for my family of four. My $40 a week budget includes all food, toiletries and cleaning supplies, it does not include eating out. (I do not include diapers and coffee in this budget, it is separate!)
Total Groceries OOP: $39.10
What great deals did you find this week? Be sure to post your trips and include links to your blog if you took an inventory or pictures.

I would like to know how to figure what % my saving are. I can’t seem to figure it out.
Thanks Lydia
Lydia, this is how I enter it into the calculator to figure my total savings…
Total Spent on receipt (divided by) ./. original total cost (the total spent + the savings at the bottom of receipt)
Hope this helps!
What was used to get the pasta?
