Weekly Wrap-Up: October 3

on October 3, 2009 · 0 Comments

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Last week I ended $8 under (actually more like $26 since I officially increased my budget!), I made a trip on Saturday after  my post to Kroger and I grabbed apples, cherry tomatoes and the salami/pepperoni I used for my Homemade Calzones this week, that totaled about $7.48!

Sunday, I made my weekly trip to Publix which was pretty good.  I ended up going about $6 over, and still can’t figure out how, when I did my weekly grocery budget list I was right in under $40.

What is Weekly Wrap-Up?

Weekly Wrap-Up is a post I do every Saturday to show you what I got this week for $40 for my family of four. My $40 a week budget includes all food, toiletries and cleaning supplies, it does not include eating out. (I do not include diapers and coffee in this budget, it is separate!)

Total Groceries OOP:  $ 46.51

What great deals did you find this week? Be sure to post your trips and include links to your blog if you took an inventory or pictures.

could you have gone over b/c you had to pay taxes on all the additional stuff that you got for ‘rainchecks’ that weren’t originally on this budget?
