I have seen so many posts of people blogging about what they are thankful for and I thought I would tell you a few of mine! I would love to hear what YOU are thankful for, so please let me know below.
I am thankful for…
1. My Salvation and My Faith – I am so thankful for Jesus, who died on the cross for me so I can live this wonderful life he has graced me with. And for the faith he has given me to make it joyfully through each day.
2. My wonderful husband and sweet children! You can’t imagine how patient, supportive and wonderful my husband is with me, especially when I least deserve it. And to be blessed with two sweet little gifts that love me back just overwhealms me sometimes. The fact that I was the one given the awesome responsibility to help raise these two little love bugs, humbles me!
3. My friends, especially Christina, Heather and Michalle! Girls, I don’t know what I would do without each of you.
4. Sales & Coupons! Without the ability to save the way we do in our grocery shopping, I would not comfortably be able to stay home and raise our two children. It has been such a blessing to not be stressed each time I go to the grocery or need to purchase things. Using the tools available to me, I have been able to save our family hundreds (no probably thousands) of dollars, and be a helper in keeping the stress of financial strain off of my marriage.
5. A Mother’s Heart Book – This book has changed the way I view my role as a mother. I now thoroughly enjoy my job as a mommy! Of course there are days, but before this book I didn’t see it as so important.
6. My family’s health – As I look around at others who have loved ones who are sick, I thank God that we are all healthy!
Well these are just my first thoughts, of course, there are many others. This is a great verse I wanted to leave you with for your Thanksgiving holiday.
“And above all these put on love…And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts…And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly…with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” – Colossians 3:14-17
My list would be very similar to yours…salvation, health, home, family, friends, and food… And today I am especially thankful for Advil and free childcare!! 🙂
