If you’ve been reading this blog very long, then you know that I love to read. I always have several books going at the same time. I read several really great books over the summer, and I wanted to recommend them to you. (I’m also still enjoying the devotional book, My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers.)
Grace-Based Parenting (above) by Tim Kimmel. I really appreciate Dr. Kimmel’s approach to parenting and his writing style. I’ve read other books of his before, including Connecting Church and Home. (See my review of that book HERE.)
Orphan Justice by Johnny Carr – Read my full review of Orphan Justice HERE.
The Five Love Languages of Children– Read my full review of The Five Love Languages in the post, How Learning about Love Languages Radically Changed My Parenting.
Too Small Too Ignore – Read my full review of this powerful book in the post, The Best Book I’ve Read on the Importance of Children.
The Resolution for Women– Read my full review in the post, What I Thought about The Resolution for Women.
Bread and Wine: A Love Letter to Life Around the Table with Recipes – If you are a foodie, you will love this book. I love how the author weaves the elements of faith and fellowship into food. Include great recipes too!
Ever After: Life Lessons Learned in My Castle of Chaos by Vicki Courtney. Loved this one!
