On the Whole Foods Facebook page they just announced that this Friday only (February 18, 2011) you can gettheir organic whole chickens for just $1.69 a pound! This is a great price, because most places sell them around $4-5/lb, and that is on the low end.
I would suggest calling ahead to your local Whole Foods store just to confirm participation. It might be a good idea to head over early, because I am not sure if Whole Foods issues rainchecks, doubtful.
