If you cook any asian recipes, you should have all these ingredients on hand in your pantry. If so, then this should be a very inexpensive and extremely tasty dressing to keep on hand.
This dressing puts on a huge punch of flavor from the sesame oil and the ginger. It has a tangy, salty flavor that is great as a marinade, a salad dressing or even stir fry sauce. Honestly it is good on just about anything.
If you wait and add the green onions when you dress the salad, you can put this in the refrigerator for up to two weeks or more to have on hand.
Asian Sesame Dressing
1/4 cup grapeseed oil (canola or olive oil will do fine)
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1/4 cup soy sauce, low sodium
1 tablespoon honey
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and whisk until blended. Pour over your favorite fish, salad or vegetables.
