This is a pretty slow week at Kroger. There are no “Mega” sales this week & the deals are pretty spare. There is a promotion to save $4 wyb 4 participating household cleaning products, I’ve included them under the “household” section of the printable list.
It looks like Kroger is starting a new gas promotion beginning Monday, April 4.
- For every 100 points you get $.10/gal
- For every 200 points you get $.20/gal
- For every 300 points you get $.30/gal, up to $1 off/gallon.

The gas deal has been going on in Knoxville since I moved here last May. Ingles and Food City have similar programs.
The gas deal is no big deal after Kroger raised their prices another 10 cents this past week. It’s now cheaper to buy gas at other locations w/o a discount!
Kroger sent me an e-mail that their Plus card database had been compromised. Shoppers were warned they might receive more spam or msgs. requesting personal data, credit card info, or social security numbers. They were warning people that they do not solicit such information & anyone requesting it is not from Kroger.
I was initially excited about getting .50 off per gal. of gas. I saved $8 but didn’t realize that once you use the discount, it’s totally gone. I would have planned a trip when my husband could be behind me to fill-up his tank as well. I think the max fill-up is 35 gallons. Honestly, it doesn’t really make a difference…just make sure your tank is pretty empty to get the maximum benefit.
