VeggieTales: Little Drummer Boy Giveaway

on November 29, 2011 · 229 Comments

Please note: This giveaway is closed. The winner is listed HERE.

Little-Drummer-Boy

Do you remember the classic Little Drummer Boy that we watched when we were kids? Well, the folks at VeggieTales have come up with their own version. My kids LOVE VeggieTales, and this one is sure to be a classic–a family tradition! In VeggieTales’ The Little Drummer Boy, Junior Asparagus takes on the starring role: a lonely little boy who finds the true meaning of Christmas when he stumbles upon the birth of Baby Jesus. My kids have really enjoyed watching this and getting another perspective on the Christmas story through the little drummer boy’s eyes. It’s bringing up a lot of great conversations with them, prompting questions like, What would it have been like to have been there, with Mary and Joseph? What would it have been like to see everything that happened that night?

I bet your kids would love this DVD too, right? Well, I am super excited to host  The Little Drummer Boy  giveaway here on Faithful Provisions–today only!  Check out the details below.

In case you don’t win, go to Amazon to order The Little Drummer Boy.  Remember, you can get FREE shipping when you order through Amazon Prime or Amazon Mom!

I love both of the Larry Boy shows. There is something about how Larry thinks he is so important, but the problem gets resolved mostly without his help in the end. It always reminds me that I can’t do it alone… God is the one who really solves all of our problems.

We love Veggie Tales! It is very hard to pick a favorite because there are so many good ones. I would have to say that “The wizard of Ha’s” is our favorite though. It does a a wonderful job of telling the story of the Prodigal son and mixing in the wizard of Oz. Only Veggie Tales can blend stories and get such good results.

My kids love all the Veggie Tales DVD including the LarryBoy DVDs. My favorite is the Snoodel’s Tale because it portray’s how God wonderfully and fearfully made us and how we can set our burdens and mistakes and imperfections (contents of the little snoodel’s backpack) and raise them up to God (the big man at the top of the mountain) and through Him we can soar!! 🙂
