Got my $.79/lb chicken at Kroger today! Thanks so much for the heads up ๐
I read a great tip about buying whole chickens recently. Take the chicken out of the packaging and remove the giblets, then repackage the chicken in a gallon size ziploc freezer bag. Discard or freeze the giblets seperately. With your chicken frozen this way it can go straight from the freezer to the crockpot if you wish but they will also thaw alot faster if you are thawing. I don’t know why I did not think of this before!
Lana – what a great idea, I love this. That makes it so much easier!
All of your meals sound delicious! I do have a questio, though… I understand that you are listing deals from each store & meals that you could make using hose deals. But are you really cooking all of those meals? If so – wow! If not, hen what is your actual meal plan for this week? Maybe I am just misunderstanding! ๐
Christi – No! I am not cooking all these meals! Next week I will show ideas for what is on sale PLUS my personal weekly meal plans. No worries lady. I can’t possibly do all that, he he!
I thought, well! We’ll just come eat with you!! ๐
