I am always looking for good Father’s Day card ideas. When it comes to making a Father’s Day card each year, honestly, I’m always stumped. I tend to go toward what I’ve done in the past because it’s the easy thing to do. For my family, Father’s Day is not about getting big presents for Dad. It’s more about the sentiment behind the day itself. To me, that’s best expressed with thoughtful words in a special card.
The past week, we have been gathering lots of ideas for your Father’s Day cards. No matter what your kids’ ages or what resources you have, one of the options below will fit.
Easy Printable Father’s Day Cards
If you are looking for super easy, printable Father’s Day Cards, here are two cute printables for Dads from my friends at Broadman and Holman. They have provided two choices, one for younger kids and one for older. So depending on the ages of your children, you have an option for both.
If you want to be more creative, here’s a printable I made that you can print off and use as a precious way to show Dad what he looks like through the eyes of his kids. This card is something that I really thought my readers would enjoy. Every year, our church does this questionnaire with the kids. This year, when I did it with my kiddos, they said that their daddy was “as handsome as a lion.”

Make a Father’s Day Card
If you want to take this printable up a notch, there are some great ideas for ways kids can make a Father’s Day card HERE. I’ve listed ways to mount it onto construction paper, present it as a scroll with a ribbon, or even use a file folder to make Daddy’s card special.
You can make your own funny Father’s Day cards HERE. I’ve included a few instructions with what to put on the front of your homemade card, and then a funny quote to put on the inside. These cute cards for Dad offer you a great chance to have fun. Print them out on your own computer in a block-style or kid’s-style font, then cut out and glue onto card stock or construction paper. Or, you can let your kids copy it in their own handwriting (which is what I prefer).
