7 Years Ago Today!!

This morning, my husband sent me a message to remind me that today was the 7 Year Anniversary for Faithful Provisions! Seriously, I can not believe it has been 7 years already.

My Very First Blog Post

My First Blog Post: Harvesting Herbs + My Favorite Pesto Recipe

It just seems like yesterday when I wrote my very first post… Harvesting Herbs and My Favorite Basil Pesto Recipe. I still remember writing this post and being so excited, but also so apprehensive at the same time!

Our New Season

What a ride it has been. Just a few short months after that first blog post we began a new journey and my husband lost his job, which made Faithful Provisions our sole income and man did God provide during that season. He was so good, we learned so much, we pulled together and our marriage is stronger because of it.

Once he returned back to work, after choosing to stay on and run Faithful Provisions with me for 2 years, I decided it was time for help. Over the course of 3 years I had some amazing staff that helped me run the blog. Then about a year ago, that time came to an end and I picked it back up running the blog by myself, which is where we are now.

Then early this summer, our season changed again. Due to a job loss, we found ourselves once again relying solely on God’s provision (not that we ever ceased!) and Faithful Provisions once again became our primary income. I have gained a renewed love for blogging and sharing what I hope are helpful posts for all of you. It’s not always easy juggling a family, homeschooling and blogging, but it is never boring!
