As always, Kroger has more Mega Event items than just those listed in the ad. I’m listing a few of my favorites here. These are also included with the weekly deals and coupon matchups. (Thanks to Southern Savers for help with this list.)

At the Kroger in Lavergne the Kraft BBQ sauce bottles had peelies for $2.00 off an 8qt container of Kool-Aid Mix when you buy 2 bottles of bbq sauce. The Koolaid is on sale this week for $2.00. So, for $1.18 you can get a jar of kool aid mix and 2 bottles of bbq sauce. Pretty awesome in my book!
Ivory body wash is $1 and there was a $1 off coupon in Sundays paper. So FREE!

I am new to couponing and was just wondering how the doubling of coupons works. Do you have to tell the cashier to double a 50 cent coupon or does it come off by its self at the end…
all confused on that!
Jennifer, we are in Sumner County TN, and the registers at our Krogers automatically doubles everything 50 cents and under. The ecoupons will not double…but I have had good luck so far on them accepting my ecoupons and paper coupons on the same items! Hope this helps! : ) By the way…it should say on the receipt…man. coupon -.30, & DBL -.30…or something to that effect..you will see where they doubled as they are scanning & on your receipt : )
FYI- Kroger has fixed thier system to only accept paper or ecoupons. The ecoupon will now automatically come off and the cashier is notified when a matching paper coupon is scanned. I am a cashier in the Louisville KY market and have seen this and adjustments to bonus coupons to avoid overages for about a month now. 🙂
I know these events generally last two weeks, does anyone know if this is the case this time around? I forgot some of my coupons so I skipped the mega deals, but I really do not want to run back this week.
Erin – I am 99% sure it will last two weeks, so you should be just fine!
