This is week one of the Mix and Match Mega Event, so you’ll have two weeks to grab these deals.  You can score free Silk Milk, pasta and Butterball.  It’s also a great time to stock up on Pork Boston Butt to make some Slow Cooker Carnita’s for Cinco De Mayo!  If you decide to get the whole ribeye, you can drop by the butcher and he will cut it up for you for free and you don’t have to purchase the entire cut.

WARNING… my experince is that to get the $5.99 / lb for the “whole ribeye”, you have to buy the “whole” ribeye. Yes, they’ll cut it for free, but will charge you more per lb if you don’t buy the whole thing.

      My best Kroger trip yet!

      Silk Almond milk – 4
      Boulder Canyon BBQ potato chips
      Kraft BBQ sauce – 4
Boston Butt 9 lbs! (also was manager’s special)
      Ronzoni pasta – 4
      Mom’s best cereal
      Quaker rice snacks – 2
      Dannon yogurt 4 packs – 4
      Ground Turkey 1 lb
      Easter candy
      Easter decoration
      5 mangoes
      Celery (cause I needed it)
2 deer park 3 liters (for emergency preparedness storage)

      Hello All!

This is only my 2nd week of couponing but I’ve already gotten some incredible deals by watching matchup lists such as these. I’m partial to this site and am wondering about this Kroger matchup list. Some of these deals are not advertised in the circular. Further, when I went into my Kroger, they did not carry 2 of the items listed. Is there any way for me to know which items on this list are, perhaps, regional and/or how to determin if I can get that deal at my Kroger store? Thanks for everything everyone is doing. LOVE this site and God Bless!

        Patricia,
Kroger is a bit different than some stores in that they dont’ list all the Mega Event items in the circular. You have to walk the store. But for the most part, the big event sales should be the same in all regions, give or take a few items. The big thing that varies at the Kroger family of stores will be the meats, fresh produce and non-sale event items. Hope this helps.

My Kroger (knoxville,tn) had Purex Detergant on sale for $3.15,, I used the $3.00 off coupon and got it for .15 cent!! The coupon said 150 oz or more but it worked on the 43.5oz bottles… So great deal..I got 7bottles:)

I shop at Dillon’s and want to thank you for your posts. I have always bought sale items and tried to buy ahead when thngs are on sale, but have become a true couponer over the last couple weeks and love the difference in my shopping bill. One thing I have not noticed anyone talking about is manager specials. My Dillon’s have manager special markdowns on Tuesday mornings. They markdown produce, meat and dairy close to expiration. They also have random markdowns throughout the store. I take the opportunity to puchase my produce, dairy and meat at this time. Last week I purchased a large box of baby spinach for $1.49, marked down from $4.49 and it had 3 weeks before the expiration date. This week I bought Driscoll strawberries for $1.29 and used my 50 cent Driscoll’s coupons (it doubled even though the coupon said it wouldn’t) and had a final price of 29 cents. I often score awesome deals on yogurt and cheese and other dairy products and use coupons on top of that. My large family easily consumes the food before it goes bad. These manager specials truly help me provide fresh produce and other things for my family and helps to stretch my budget. It is worth asking your store manager when their markdown day is. Thanks again for all your wonderful infomation.

Shawna – I am so excited for you and the ease of the deals will get easier the longer you do it. You are exactly right about manager markdowns! I shop at Kroger here locally (the Kroger arm of Dillons) and when I do my Show Your Savings shopping trips, I typically have a few manager markdowns included. 🙂

I am new to this site & the Krogers area & there are some things I don’t understand. It is May 1st, the match-up list is labled may 1-7 but there are notes stating that the list is expired. Can someone explain this to me? Thanks.

Gina, it looks like you are looking at a post from last year. The current Kroger coupon matchups are HERE. If you look just under the title of a post, in small type you will see the date it was posted. Hope that helps!
