I’m thinking about labeling the shelves in my cabinet that I use as a pantry. Sort of as a guideline and to better keep track of my on hand things. I love to label all my teaching things. Helps keep my home classroom orgaznized and file folders so you can just stick the label over another label and continue to use the same folder without having to buy more folders also works great on tabs for hanging file folders rather than folding those tee tiny tabs to insert in the plastic slots.

This is also great for making quick file folder labels. My keyboard drawer is also full of labels for things like library card numbers so I can go on-line and reserve books without tracking down my purse and card. LOL

I love Brother products! I have a Brother HL2240 laser printer that has saved my life by saving me money on toner. If I had a Brother label machine, I would use it to label all the CSA food I’m going to dehydrate, freeze and can this spring, summer and fall.

So I don’t hardly label anything. (Food in the freezer….that’s all that I’m coming up with!) But I’m in my mid-30’s and finally coming to the realization that life might be just a tad bit easier if I had a few “systems” in place. I started with an “over the door shoe organizer” back in December. I’ve been thinking about a labeler for a couple of months now. I’d love to give it a shot and see how much it could help me.

I love labeling! I do not have one, but are moving soon and would love to have one to organize the new home.
I would love a labeling system. I like to have things in the kitchen labeled (item, expiration date, etc.). Also, I am hoping to begin teaching high school science soon and would LOVE a labeling system for my classroom. What don’t I love to label!! I guess if I had to pick I would say the containers in organizational units – makes it easy for everyone in the family to know where everything belongs. If it has a home and its labeled as such – it will most likely find its way back there.

A label machine?! I would start by labeling those hidden items that are in storage boxes—that will take the guess work out of figuring out what is in them. After that, who knows but it will be put to good use.

I use to have a “baking center” in my old house. I need to get one done in this one! I got a lot of plastic pickle and mayo jars from a deli then added a shelf (under an existing one) into my cupboard so that the jars would slide in on their side with the lid toward me. I labeled all my different types of flours. On the same principle I used smaller like jars for corn meal, brown sugar, etc. On another shelf I added a very shallow shelf for all of my teas and herbs. It was a wonderful organized space!

Oh boy! I have been wanting a label maker for SO long. My best friend has one and I have been drooling over it for awhile. I would use it to label everything in my kitchen – I have jars and jars of spices and flour and rice and cereal, etc., etc., etc., and I always forget to label and date things, so I never remember how old something is. I would use my label maker to get my kitchen organized first and foremost. Once that was done, I’d move on to my basement and get all of our tools and hardware items labeled and then onto the art supplies. Boy, would I have fun!! (my husband thinks I’m nuts BTW)

My husband is deployed to afghanistan. I have been trying to organize our house while he is gone. I think the key to keeping a neat and tidy house is everything having a place and knowing where that place is. That way everyone could help keep it clean. With a labeler the place would be marked.
