North Carolina Chick-fil-A is offering coupons in teacher paychecks. I wrote and requested one, too; as a homeschool teacher, I get no paycheck. lol Well, I do, but it comes in the form of hugs and kisses!

Did you know Chick-fil-A uses MSG in most of their food items. I emailed them aboiut that too, but received a rather rude response. Apparently, they LOVE MSG and trust that the FDA never lies to us or lacks knowledge with regard to food safety.

So why would I want a coupon? Occasionally, I allow myself to indulge – that horrible MSG has me hooked! lol

Thanks for the offer, but it really sucks when you go into the dive thru thinking you’re going to get a free sandwhich and when you pull around you still get charged because “we’re not participating” is told to you from the store. That is a bad business practice. I ended up paying for it but at that point due to the principal of the situation, I think I would have rather had an Arby’s Roastbeef.

A company should not offer free food items if its stores are not required to fulfill the offer. I really like Chick-Fil-A, but hearing this makes me want to boycott them! I feel like it is false advertising to promise something and then not deliver. I know what it says in the fine print. I don’t care. The main office should be accountable to all the teachers who went to their neighborhood Chick-Fil-A and was denied. Putting an advertisement out there makes everyone think “oh, how wonderful of Chick-Fil-A. They are doing something nice for the teachers.” And what actually is happening is the few who try to get the free item are made to feel bad for asking. It will be a long time before I give my business to Chick-Fil-A again!
