Tips for Shopping at Consignment Sales
- Have a List – Have a list of what you need and what you are looking for. It keeps you on track, these sales can be very overwhelming.
- Know Your Prices – Research a little and know what price you are willing to pay for an item. I am looking for a train table and I need to know the retail price, so I know if my consignment price is a good one.
- Shop Early – The early bird gets the worm, so if you can volunteer to work the sale or be a consignor you can get in on the best sale items. The volunteers and consignors always get to come in and shop before the public. (Thanks Tracy!)
- Half Price Day – The first day you go get the items you really “need”, then if you can check back on the Half-Price day to pick up those other things you would “like”.
