Bad news is everywhere. It’s hard to turn on the daily news without feeling like I have to censor it for my kids. But the truth is there are hundreds of inspiring stories happening all the time! Right now people doing incredible things to make a difference and they never get recognition.
Until now.
I’m super excited to tell you about a new site my friends just launched called Gener.us. You know all the stories you see on Facebook and Twitter? That’s what Gener.us does! Basically, it’s a website that delivers stores that inspire. They are constantly telling the most compelling, inspirational and beautiful stories going on around us. Stories that remind us what it means to be human, and how easy it is to impact people around us. As it says on their site, “Each story is a spark… a flicker of hope and humanity… that just might ignite something inside you.” I love that!
Our family has started showing this our big screen and watching it together as a family during the “news” hour! They have such inspiring stories!

Yes, all of the bad news, doom and gloom…it’s the very reason I no longer watch the news. That is NOT the way I choose to start my day. Just bookmarked the site! How funny…I had no clue Paul was behind that…we go to church together.
